Job description / Role
Allen and York are looking for an experienced HSE manager to look after all HSES requirements pertaining to the upgrade and extension of 2 existing refineries. This is a PMC role looking after one of the EPC packages of this multi billion dollar project. Site based guidance and support will be essential.
Provide the leadership and support necessary to ensure efficient Health, Safety, Environmental and Security (HSES) management. The main aim being to create secure, safe and healthy working conditions throughout the site, while protecting the environment during both, construction and commissioning operations
Manage the duties and controls detailed by the Site HSES Plan, pertaining to health, safety, the environment and security requirements and ensure continuous compliance
Have an advanced level understanding of the requirements of OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001, and ensure sites are managed to these standards
Requirements
Experience Required:
15 years experience in HSE within an Oil,
Gas or Petrochemical construction environment
5 years experience in a similar role
25 years industrial experience
Strong leadership skills
Willingness to travel and be flexible is essential
Excellent communication and presentation skills
A degree in a relevant technical discipline is essential
