The RoleThe RoleOur client, a leading international engineering firm in the Oil & Gas industry is looking for a HSSE Leader to join their dynamic team in Bahrain. The ideal candidate who reports to the QHSE Department Manager has to manage the health, safety, environmental and security performance in all operations to meet company, industry, national, and international standards of performance as appropriate. Responsibilities: Provide support to operations teams to help them achieve HSSE performance targets. Develop HSSE processes and procedures as well as develop and deliver HSE Training programmes. Represent the company on HSSE issues at Client meetings as well as implement audit and monitoring processes. Investigate and implement accident/incident reporting and prepare periodic HSSE reports of company operations. Liaise with other departments on operational matters such as security, emergency response and environmental issues. |
RequirementsRequirements Must have NEBOSH, IOSH, OHSAS 18001 and ISO14001 or industry equivalent qualifications. Engineering degree or equivalent with a recognized certificate on HSE related profession (e.g. Fire Safety, First Aid, etc). Minimum 10 years of experience in an Engineering company serving the Oil & Gas/Petrochemical industries. Recognized experience in Project Risk Assessment and Hazard Identification, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Work Permit, Management of Change. Experience in leading the development/implementation of the Environmental Management System (EMS) and able to establish Aspect and Impact.
