Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Responsible to ensure the proper planning, improvement and implementation of adequate safety management system in the projects & maintain the HSE System and to attain the policy and strategic objectives, and continual sustain of culture that supports and continually improves the health, safety environment.

Requirements

- Qualified to a Degree Level and Professional Qualifications from a recognized Health, Safety and Environmental Organization.
- Minimum of 10 years of overall work experience in a Health, Safety and Environmental role within the construction/infrastructure industry.
- Be familiar with the HSE requirements of local legislation, international best practice and standards. Must have ISO 14001 / OHSAS 18001 background.
- A minimum of 10 years experience involving large-scale civil construction project ideally with metro, rail or light rail system background.
- Experience in Middle East/North Africa desirable.
- Previous experience with engineering consultancy highly regarded.
