HSSE Team Leader

Job description / Role

A Multinational Oil & Gas company is Hiring Health, Safety & Environment (HSSE) Team Leader to provide guidance on low/medium risk operational issues and implementation of measures to minimize risks. Lead all environmental permits and licenses, regulatory and company reports, environmental studies, etc.

Typically the candidate will carry out all of the following:
Must hold NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
Experience in Health, Safety and Crisis management
Attainment of the esafes, SC, WCC Audits and Horizon Zero Commitments/Targets
Synergy action close-out
Attendance to the HSSE Trainings and Meetings
Act assigned Emergency Response Responsibility
Participation to the Emergency Drills as needed
Timely Reporting of Incidents and Near Miss.
Participation to the Incident Investigations as needed
Conduct of assigned audit as per the Assurance Audit Plan
Compliance with HSE Related Standards and Procedures
Good Knowledge of CoW and IM

Requirements

Educational Qualification
MSc in Environmental Science or Engineering
5-10 years’ Experience within Oil & Gas industry preferred
Must hold NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
Should be Fluent in English and Arabic both verbal and written.
Occupational Health and Safety(HSSE) knowledge from UAE local legal regulations.
Command on ISO 14001 based Environmental Management System
