The RoleThe RoleCandidates should have comprehensive knowledge in all aspects of air conditioning and refrigeration services of various brands e.g., TRANE, York, Carrier, LG and the likes, plus installation of various replacement components such as compressors, PCBs fan motors, etc. Other responsibilities shall include basic plumbing/electrical works and troubleshooting of water pumps. HVAC Service Technician will be involved with installation, maintenance and possibly design of HVAC units or systems, including electronic and mechanical components, installation of HVAC ductwork including flexible tubing and sheet metal construction, troubleshoot and repair HVAC units including electronic and mechanical components, install or repair fuel and water supply lines, conserve, install and recycle CFC and HCFC (Chlorflourocarbon family) refrigerants, install or repair electrical connections to HVAC components, install or repair HVAC system automation components for businesses or "smart homes" facilities. |
RequirementsRequirements• 2-3 Years diploma or ITI in HVAC from a reputed technical school. • 7-10 years experience in HVAC / Chilled Water System, PM and repairs, overhauling and installation of compressors. • Electrical and mechanical knowledge including safety controls. • Ability to work with other technicians. • Good customer service skills. • Driving license |
