The RoleThe RoleManages the execution of the activities specified in the maintenance program as it relates to HVDC Summarized •Responsible for the supervision of outsourced substation maintenance •Analyze reports generated and identify technical modifications •Follow up on contractors work,budget, scope. •Assist in tendering for contractor, in setting technical requirements •Develop and implement maintenance safety procedures to ensure the safety of personnel and the population at large. •Assist in the preparation of tendering documentation and the subsequent bid analysis for the maintenance work •Assist Operational Planning in the preparation of the yearly equipment maintenance plan •Ensure subordinates are given proper training and briefed on safety procedures |
RequirementsRequirementsEducational Qualifications & Certifications •Bachelor of Science with a specialization in Electrical Engineering Experience Function specific experience •HVDC control line center •HVDC transformers, valves & rectifier Industry related experience •Power Transmission Years of experience •8-10 years of relevant experience (in managerial level) |
