Hard Services Manager (FM)
Our client is a multipurpose site which now requires an experience Hard Services Operations Manager to join its Facilities Management team.
The focus of this role will be to maintain and oversee the hard services on a day to day basis including but not limited to all
Lift and Escalators
All fire and life safety systems.
Security Management System
The role is essentially a supervisory role ensuring the service provision base engaged is fulfilling their obligations as stated in the contact terms and conditions.
The role requires a hands on approach by which the Operations Manager Hard Services shall be actively involved in all operational aspects to ensure the standard and integrity of company
Organizing and liaising with a wide variety of contractors with larger scale repair and maintenance works
Ensuring customer and retailer safety
Ensuring maintenance staff quality and time effectiveness of work
Ensuring maintenance is within budgeted levels
Regular problem solving tasks
Assist with Centre minor capital expenditure program
Manage minor capital expenditure items
Provide continual improvement to procedures & policies
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets relating to hard services and actively control expenditure to within approved limits throughout the financial year
Create and monitor task sheets that pertain to hard services management to ensure contract adherence
Day to day customer satisfaction with the facility
Acting as a frontline contact point for queries and complaints relating to Hard services
People / contract Management

The holder of the position is likely to possess:
Maintain a professional appearance at all times
Strong MEP/Engineering background
Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with all key contacts.
Acquire eye for detail and ability to think outside the square to resolve day to day operational issues
Ability to work with minimal supervision with high level of self motivation
Possess sufficient knowledge to proficiently undertake minor remedial works as required
Be entirely conversant with Fire & Evacuation Procedures
