The RoleThe RoleHard Services Manager Ras Laffan, Qatar Salary: QAR 18,000 to 20,000 Our client managers large contracts at all the major construction sites and use both catering staff and facilities management being one of the largest catering and cleaning service companies in the region and in more than 50 countries. Our client is looking for a Hard Services Manager/Facilities Manager. The candidate must have an engineering background as the Hard services Manager is required to manage camp services such as maintenance of roads, maintenance of electric plant and other services for staff accommodation. The manager will be responsible for the management of these services to ensure that the camp provides a suitable living environment for its residents and their activities The candidate will work for 9 weeks and have 2 weeks leave to go home, they will live on the camp, food and medical are provided. Key Responsibilities Project management and supervising and coordinating works Managing and leading change to ensure minimum disruption to core activities; Liaising with residents and project manager Directing and planning essential central services such maintenance, mail, cleaning, catering, waste disposal and recycling; Ensuring the building meets health and safety requirements; Checking that agreed work by staff or contractors has been completed satisfactorily and following up on any deficiencies; Coordinating and leading one or more teams to cover various areas of responsibility; Using performance management techniques to monitor and demonstrate achievement of agreed service levels and to lead on improvement; Responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise. |
