The RoleThe RoleThe Head Barista is responsible for supervising the day to day front of the house floor activities in order to ensure that the operation is carried out in the most efficient and effective manner and that the highest standards of customer service are achieved. .Prepares and/or serves the full range of beverages sold in the unit. Implements the standards and follows hygiene & safety procedures. Ensures events are communicated to the team and all discrepancies affecting procedures, quality and standards are being reported to the Manager. Monitors orderliness, tidiness and smooth operation. Ensures that prepared food and beverages generate the utmost eye appeal. Responds to customer inquiries, complaints, and incidents in a positive manner and guarantees guest satisfaction. Ensures replenishment of inventory. Administers stock arrangement, products expiry date and daily requisition orders from the suppliers after the Shop Managers approval. Verifies that the log book notes are applied. . |
RequirementsRequirements* Technical degree in Food and Beverage or Hospitality Management. * Minimum 3 years of experience in F&B Operations in a similar role. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills. * Good organizational skills. * Fluent in English. .Leading and supervising * Working with people * Delivering results and meeting customers expectations * Adapting and responding to change * Coping with pressure and setbacks * Adhering to principles and values. * Presenting and communicating information * Following instructions and procedures |
