As part of a new outlet in Dubai that aims to target both local / expat and tourist customers with an excellent mix of casual dining both during the day and evening this is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to build what promises to be a highly successful venue. Key Responsibilities: Overall management of the restaurants / venue kitchen facilities Responsible for driving he overall profit and loss of the food department People management within the kitchen and recruitment of new staff as required Ensure that correct levels or food / stock ordering and ongoing storage is maintained to an optimum level Health & safety of all staff, kitchen and cleanliness are at optimum level Overall responsibility for food standards & presentation Daily management of staff roster and employee relations Directing the tasks daily to all relevant chefs & staff |
RequirementsRequirementsExperience Required: Minimum of 6 years commercial experience in leading a 4 /5 star kitchen. With a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or Head Chef capacity Local UAE or Gulf experience is well regarded although not essential Must have a recognized a relevant Diploma / Qualification Although not essential a preference for broad skills in food from multiple different regions is preferred i.e. European, Indian, Asian, Middle East etc. Excellent communication skills in English are essential |
