The RoleThe RoleThe candidate will be responsible for managing and developing the Banks external profile in the media and through other channels including the website, coordinate and advice on corporate relationships with designated external stakeholders, both individual and organizational, for the benefit of the Bank and its clients. • Enhance media relations and lead story placement with national, local, business, industry press. • Coordinate the support of the documentation and the implementation of departmental policies and procedures which will set out the principles, methodology and techniques to establish effective external communication. |
RequirementsRequirements• Bachelor's degree preferably in Communications and Public Relations, Masters is a plus. • Minimum of 8-12 years experience in a major bank of which at least 3 years in a managerial capacity in a similar function. |
