Head, FCC MI & Reporting, MENAP

The Head of MI and Reporting is to provide pro-active support to the function and support management by coordinating and delivering MI as well as reporting to local and Group Senior Management.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver timely reporting of various Management Information (MI) reports to local and Group Committees
- Interpret MI and provide covering analysis for Committees
- Ensure timely escalation of significant issues to management
- Analyse and interpret data to produce reports that help the bank identify and manage emerging areas of risk / vulnerability and drive remediation action within the FCC function
- Coordinate with GIA to ensure adequate oversight and tracking of remediation of surveillance and investigations related audit findings in the first line. Accountable to resolve second line findings.
- Ensure adequate oversight and tracking of remediation of surveillance and investigations related Regulatory findings as well
- Provide leadership to the regional FCC network as part of the regional senior FCC management team
- Assist in the development of an effective internal compliance culture by promoting the benefits of ethical business conduct and the benefits of compliance
- Design and maintain dashboards and metrics that allow FCC to dynamically monitor financial crime risk and operational performance for key FCC processes
- Design, implement, manage and present appropriate operational and risk metrics and tracking mechanisms for transaction and email surveillance, customer and other party screening. These should be tailored to the specific relevant audiences, with a mechanism for recording and tracking follow up action items.
- Provide timely information for internal/external audits and regulatory examinations
- Establish and develop effective working relationships with data providers and users of reports

Requirements

- Ability to partner with the business to make decisions based on the knowledge and interpretation of current and possible future policies, practices, trends and information of financial crime.
- Develop and implement financial crime compliance arrangements/frameworks (programs, policies and procedures) for bank and business lines.
- Review system safeguards and recommend process enhancements
