Employment: Full Time

Bahrain Airport Companys department for Internal Audit is currently seeking a proficient candidate to assist the Director of Internal Audit in preparing and implementing a risk based audit plan to assess, report on, and make suggestions for improving the companys key operational and finance activities and internal controls.

THE MAIN DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Determining scope of review in conjunction with the Director Internal Audit.
- Planning and conducting reviews/internal audits of management and operating systems, financial, accounting systems, procedures and controls and determine whether the organizational units are performing in compliance with Company policies and procedures.
- Establishing Risk Based Audit Programs.
- Conducting risk assessment of assigned department or functional area in established/required timeline.
- Verbally communicating findings to senior management and draft complete and comprehensive report of audit area.
- Reviewing work of the audit staff to ensure sound audit theory and compliance with the department's methodology.
- Developing a close working relationship with external auditors to ensure that they feel confident of the standards maintained in the company and are able to complete their external audit in a timely and cost effective manner.
- Ensuring work papers are adequately documented and audit evidence is sufficient.

Requirements

- Professionally qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIA / CPA etc.)
- Good knowledge of Oracle Financials is an asset.
- Working knowledge of corporate governance and internal control frameworks and standards such as COSO Enterprise Risk Management.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Internal Audit.
