Head – Legal

Job description / Role

A reputed firm is seeking the Head of their corporate Legal team.
This role would focus on overseeing all legal affairs of the company, with a focus on the core area - real estate development related litigation, contracts & agreements. This role would also include liaising with government bodies such as RERA, RTA etc.
Responsibilities would also include overseeing the team, setting processes and interacting with the sister-concerns/ related business units of the group.

Requirements

• Law degree from a recognized university in the United States, Canada, UK or equivalent jurisdiction and between seven - ten years post qualification experience in real property law.
Experience in construction law would be an asset.
• Ability to take a commercial view towards solving legal issues and providing short, succinct advice.
• Familiarity with the real estate laws of Dubai and general laws of the United Arab Emirates.
