Job description / Role
Head Merchandiser - Dubai
- Know how to manage the levers of AOV, conversion and basket size to achieve goals for sales and margin
- Can leverage all digital marketing elements including email, SEM and SEO to maximize sales and margin
- Have hands-on experience leading, mentoring and growing ecommerce Merchandising teams
- Take accountability and ownership over the P&L
- Great at financial analysis, KPI-driven and have a track record of successfully driving online sales
- You're also in charge of managing what products should be addressed online - you're able to reject certain products if they don't match the criteria for online product selection
- Adept at Product research and can identify the hottest products and the poor performing items and take the appropriate action
- Have expertise with trend-determining tools and technologies
- Experienced with maintaining and evolving a Merchandising calendar that maps seasonal product hits by business and key events - to better plan Merchandising, Product and Promotion strategies and ensure they are aligned to the offline business strategy
- Comfortable leading and managing the inventory controlling and replenishment processes
- Excellent at reporting, sharing and presenting the MerchandiSing KPIs with key stakeholders at the right times
- Keep up with the latest trends in the ecommerce merchandising space
- Are as much of a doer as you are a leader
- Are an excellent communicator, facilitator and collaborator
- Are comfortable dealing with tight deadlines and multiple teams
Requirements
Candidate with good experience in Ecommerce and Retail Industry
Experience more than 5 years of experience
- Excellent at reporting, sharing and presenting the MerchandiSing KPIs with key stakeholders at the right times
- Keep up with the latest trends in the ecommerce merchandising space
- Are as much of a doer as you are a leader
- Are an excellent communicator, facilitator and collaborator
- Are comfortable dealing with tight deadlines and multiple teams
- Have 5 to 7 years of hands-on e-commerce Merchandising experience from a successful, well-known online retail business
- Have are comfortable managing across functions (marketing, operations etc) and hierarchal levels to ensure execution of the strategy
- Have drive and articulate the ecommerce merchandising vision for the business
