Head Nurses (Long Term Care & Sub-acute Unit)

Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) is the principal public healthcare provider for the State of Qatar.

The Corporation manages eight hospitals along with further specialist clinical, educational and research facilities, and is growing in capacity each year around the diverse needs of the evolving population.

We are looking to appoint a number of full time Head Nurses join us on a permanent basis in our Long Term Care, Sub Acute units in our hospitals in Doha, Qatar.

Our Head Nurses are responsible to the Director of Nursing and assist in the management of nursing services.

Head Nurses allocate available resources to promote efficient, effective, and compassionate nursing care, provide input into executive level decisions, and keep staff informed of executive level activities.

We would like to hear from committed critical care nursing professionals at with at least three years clinical experience after graduation who would like the opportunity to work in our very supportive Long Term Care facilities.

It is essential that you have experience of working within a Critical Care setting.

We ask that you have at least two years supervisory or management experience, you will need to be a confident communicator and have a working knowledge of Performance Improvement processes.

Requirements

- BSc, Nursing or equivalent
- Valid Nursing License/Registration from your Country of Origin
- ILS / PLS / APLS / ACLS (preferred)
- Two years supervisory or management experience
- Three years clinical experience
- Working knowledge of the Performance Improvement process
- English reading, writing, spoken proficient
- Arabic (Preferred but not essential)
