The job exists to actively manage the credit risk / market risk pertaining to any facilities advanced against investments.
Monthly product portfolio analytical review for Investment related products.
Regular Tracking of the lending portfolio against the market value of the investment.
Suggest and incorporate policy changes and their impact on the product portfolio.
Review exception to policy for product and manage divisional policy self assessment.
Stress testing the investment portfolio to market and other economic changes and identifying early triggers of stress on the portfolio.
Assisting the product team in structuring new investment products within the risk tolerance Limits of the bank.
Recommending investment securities for lending under leverage.
Periodically meet with the product manager / sales manager and evaluate the proposed changes in the Policy.
Analyse / interpret the portfolio performance on a monthly basis.
Regular Tracking of Portfolio against the market value of the security. Identifying customers where there is short fall in security value and sending call notice for margin calls.
Ensure that all policies are documented and communicated clearly across the organisation.
Structuring new investment Products in consultation with Product.
Gather market information / study market trends to ensure that the policy is relevant to the market conditions.
Managing the exposure and concentration risk on investment portfolio.
Minimum 10 /12 years experience in banking/Finance/mutual fund industry/investment banking.
Knowledge of UAE market, laws and regulations is advantageous.
Should have knowledge about Investment products. (Including the risk associated with it.)
Masters in business administration and or Management Studies or Master in Accountancy and finance( CFA is preferred)

ADCB is registered under the UAE Federal Commercial Companies Law No. (8) of 1984 under registration number 4 and operates in the UAE under a banking licence issued by the Central Bank of the UAE.
ADCB provides a range of consumer and corporate banking, Islamic banking, trade finance, structured finance, foreign exchange, derivatives, and financial advisory services, primarily in the United Arab Emirates. In addition, ADCBs subsidiary Abu Dhabi commercial Islamic Finance PSC holds an Islamic banking license.
As at 31 December 2010, ADCB operated 47 branches, 4 pay offices and 265 ATMs in the UAE; 4 new branches and 99 new ATMs were added during 2010. ADCB also operated 2 branches in India.
