Head Of Finance, Riyadh

Our client is a world re-known multinational with a significant presence across the globe. They are growing their Middle East business significantly in 2015 as a result of continued demand in their sector and are currently looking for an experienced finance professional to lead their KSA finance function.
- Supervising and coordinating all Generate Accounting / Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable / Time and Expense / Payroll accounting and Inter-Company transactions records for all legal entities in the country, compliance with business policies and procedures, following local legal regulations and Internal controls requirements.
- Ensure adequate internal controls are in place including non-finance processes (e.g., payroll etc.)
- Ensure all G/L accounts are properly reconciled on a monthly basis, reconciliation between Saudi GAAP and Local GAAP
- Performing Monthly / Quarterly and Annual Close, including required Reporting
- Reviewing entries posted to General Ledger by Internal Service Center (AEE), cooperate with AEE personnel as appropriate to ensure correctness of processed records?
- Ensure accurate Tax reporting under Saudi GAAP as required by business policies and procedures
- Manage local activities related to Client Billing and Cash collection
- Ensure Activity rates and Bill rates are properly developed and perform periodic reconciliation and analysis with actual payroll costs
- Review/approve various journal entries/adjusting entries for posting to SAP
- Coordinate with HR and review proposal for changes in scope of provided Benefits (Costs / Benefit analysis, Tax impact assessment)
- Coordinate with HR activities in Payroll costs planning and Activity rates and Bill rates development
- Review together with Procurement arrangements with Vendors (e.g. contracts) for potential tax / accounting implications
- Coordinate with other Finance functions (e.g., CFM engagement reviews, engagement issues, client billing, revenue recognition, GS Finance internal support functions costs allocations)
- Responsible for compliance with External reporting requirements to various Government authorities in area of Statutory Accounting, Tax Reporting, Statistical Reporting and any other Legally required reporting for Legal entities in Romania
- Perform compliance reviews of various internal controls and procedures (participation/management of control reviews of key areas with financial impact)
- Prepare internal management and status reporting
- Cooperate with Internal audit team during Internal audit review
- Supervise Country Controllership Team
- Provide overall leadership of the Country Controllership teams supervised, specifically on matters such as team direction, new projects and staffing matters to ensure efficient team activities and facilitate accurate and efficient transaction processing
- People development of Country Controllership team members (Specialists and Analysts)

Requirements

- Saudi National OR native Arabic speaker ONLY
- Qualified ACCA, CPA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent
- Experience working in a multinational company
- 12+ years experience in Finance with the last few years in a managerial role
