Employment: Full Time

The BuroHappold Regional Head of Integrated Marketing is responsible for driving consistency in brand and marketing activity across their region including client centric marketing activity and strong positioning of the BuroHappold service offer portfolio.

The scope of work crosses all countries in the region and involves strong collaboration with regional country leads and regional sector leaders. It also includes line management responsibilities of any outsourced marketing activity in that region. They are responsible for ensuring that BuroHappold, its service offers and its people are positioned in all regional markets and the minds of clients in the best possible light.

As a Marketing leader, the Head of Integrated Marketing: Middle East focus may include, but are not limited to:
- Facilitating Strategic discussions to be able to develop and implement an agreed ME Regional marketing strategy.
- Annual planning and ownership of regional marketing budget.
- Collaboration and integration with the wider global marketing community.
- Ensure compliance of marketing processes and procedures across the region.
- Leading an outsourced marketing and marketing tasked team.
- Support and input into one global marketing budget.
- Key stakeholder management.
- Evaluation, monitoring and reporting of Marketing progress against set targets.
- Ensuring Brand consistency, cohesiveness, compliance and leverage.
- Responsible for Corporate and government affairs and building high level market partnerships and platforms
- Liaise with the marketing global community to share information and best practice.
- Setting and facilitating regular Marketing review meetings with regional stakeholders. (group and 1:1).
- Collaborating closely with Business Development on key initiatives such as networking activity and other client thought leadership round table events.
- A flexible innovative team player who has solid integrated marketing, marketing strategy, project management and leadership experience.
- The skills and experience to initiate, influence and implement the development and execution of country based marketing strategies.
- The ability to quickly establish rapport and trust with senior BuroHappold leaders and marketing team members.
- Emphasis is placed on convening and collaboration skills and the ability to successfully establish credibility in the role of advisor.

Qualifications
- University education (marketing or business related degree)
- Professional Marketing Qualifications (Chartered Marketer) - member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

The individual must be a Professional Marketer that is able to demonstrate the following:
- Minimum 12 years integrated marketing experience.
- 5+ years experience working within a professional services, B2B or engineering organization.
- Confident and able to work with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience of working across complex multi matrix global organizations and liaising with stakeholders located across country boarders.
- Strong networking capabilities, comfortable operating at senior levels.
- Ability to work on several tasks, under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Strong influencing skills and comfortable dealing with senior executives
- Understanding of consulting and building engineering, its technology and terminology is advantageous, but not essential

Requirements

The Head of Integrated Marketing: Middle East will deliver against four key areas:
- Maximising ROI of marketing spend through planned, proactive, integrated marketing activity across the region, aligned to a global strategy.
- Controlling our brand through checks and procedures to ensure that all external facing materials and messages across the region are coordinated and brand enhancing.
- Service offer portfolio management regionally positioning, packaging and managing the lifecycle of our clearly defined service offerings so that value propositions are clearly articulated and communicated in a way enticing to clients.
- Elevating our conversation and create relationship management and Business Development opportunities through a clearly articulated and coordinated regional but globally relevant, thought leadership programme.

The scope of work crosses all the markets in the Middle East region. It involves strong collaboration with the Global Marketing Team, Global Business development support Team, , Regional Business Development personnel, Global Graphic Community, Sector Leaders, Regional Discipline Leaders.

The Head of Integrated Marketing in a region will be responsible for implementing the Corporate strategy (marketing), contributing to the regional sector and market strategies, and the preparation of a regional marketing strategy.

The post holder must at all times carry out his/ her duties with due regard to the BuroHappold Equality & Diversity Policy.

Finance & Budgets

Reporting
- Reports to Global Head of Integrated Marketing
- Key client: Managing Director: Middle East, plus leadership team in region
- Direct reports: Any outsourced marketing personnel across the region, or anybody tasked with marketing activity as part of their role.

Planning & Organisation
