Job description / Role
Job Purpose:
The purpose of this job is to create, manage and implement the credit policies and procedures for the Wholesale and Private Account's portfolio.
The job holder will also over the analytics function / regulatory reporting required for the Group.
Main Task/ Responsibilities:
• Risk policies
- Develop / maintain and enhance the risk policies / programs so that they are consistent with Bank risk strategy and risk appetite.
o Ensure that risk policies are processes are implemented and effectively administered.
• Risk & regulatory data quality
- Responsible for defining and driving the risk and regulatory data quality to support current and future Credit & Risk Group needs.
- Guides the design and establishment of data quality processes to drive industry best practices across various groups.
- Ensures that redundancies in the risk data processes are reduced across all business units.
• Risk Analytics
- Modify / re-design and consolidate the analytics capability within Risk management to ensure clear / consistent risk updates to the Management and Board risk committees.
• Stress testing
- Design consolidated stress test programs that are integrated with macroeconomic indicators and across portfolio segments to test the resilience of bank’s balance sheet
- Develop stand-alone stress tests for specific portfolio segments to set risk boundaries
Requirements
Experience & Qualifications:
Minimum Education Level:
Post Graduate Degree in any discipline with track record with reputed institutions
Professional Qualification:
CFA or any specialized financial degree preferred
Experience:
- Extensive knowledge of Wholesale Banking credit risk management, business practices and regulations
- Excellent knowledge of Wholesale banking products, policies and procedures acquired through on-the job experience
- Knowledge of complex ME markets – desirable but not pre-requisite
- Extensive knowledge and prior experience in risk analytics.
