Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The primary objective of this role is to support the achievement of sales goals of Program lending team mainly through driving the sales initiative, enriching existing relationships and acquiring new-to-ADCB relationships within SME (Companies with Sales turnover less than AED 150 Million).

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

• Assess sales opportunities, develop sales plans and ensure achieving appropriate sales goals within SME for ABF and other unsecured loan business.
• Implement business development strategies, plans and policies to achieve targeted economic profit
• Lead and direct sales activities through relationship teams.
• Plan special products developments, coordinate market penetration and new product offerings with product partners,
• Work closely with various internal stakeholders so as to develop a compelling value proposition including effective customer acquisition strategies
• Identify new business sectors / target markets and implement appropriate business development strategy
• Assist CBBG Senior Management in planning and achieving the Group’s budget numbers

• Dedicated sales leadership across PROGRAM LENDING SME
• Custodian of Sales Management Information System
• Business Planning & Analysis on new target markets / business sectors
• Participation in the development/review of new products and changes to existing products and policies
• Monitoring and tracking all sales initiatives within SME (end to end)
• On-call sales support as-needed by customer-facing bankers and product partners
• Enhancing process efficiency to current sales /coverage process – client calling, treasury, trade sales etc.
• Coordinate efforts with Relationship units to maximize utilization of approved limits
• Collaborate with product partners & other divisions (Treasury / Consumer Banking) to improve cross sell and enhance overall profitability of the Bank
• Coordinate efforts with Risk Management / Credit Division for their support on Credit Applications and involve in discussions

Requirements

Preferred Bilungual Candidate (English + Arabic)

Minimum Education Level
Bachelors Degree (MBA Preferred)

Professional Qualification
Business Administration desirable

Experience
Minimum 10 years experience in Corporate / SME Banking/Retail banking

• Successful track record in sales / sales management
• Strong management / leadership capabilities
