The RoleThe RoleOur Client is a diversified global conglomerate providing Engineering & Construction services in Oil & Gas, Infrastructure and Petrochemicals, and with interests in Defence, Aviation, Marine and Upstream sectors. Job Description : To safeguard the organization’s interest in all the Departments to measure efficiencies and monitor compliance of the identified key processes. Analyse the impact of the organizational strategies and business plans on the nature of quality systems to be established in the organization and plan for the implementation of the same To develop a broad level strategic framework in the areas of quality systems implementation for the company To review tender documents and provide quality related data to the Estimations Department and prepare the relevant manuals and procedures Identify manpower for deployment at site Responsible for support in the PQCP ( pro quality control plan and procedures), review specifications and address all processes in the functions Conduct quality audits at site from time to time Review internal and external audits and co ordinate with respective departments to address their concerns Responsible for reviewing the inspection test planning, ensuring the third party is carrying out the inspection in line with requirements Collect key information on quality adherence of key processes, track efficiencies of these processes and report them to the top management Develop a system of document control for quality systems across the organization Review the overall impact of the implementation of quality systems and adherence to Quality Systems (as per ISO) within the Department Co-ordinate with sites on all issues related to quality procedures and data related queries Co-ordinate with other business heads and other support functions on the implementation and adherence of quality systems and procedures Co-ordinate with external auditing agencies and certifying agencies on an on going basis Responsible for setting the budget for the department, including budgeting of manpower requirements and training and development Support HR in manpower recruitment and deployment in the department Guide/Coach and provide direction to direct reportees in the implementation of quality systems across the organization Organize training programs/accreditations/certifications for team members in the Quality Department |
RequirementsRequirementsDegree in Mechanical Engineering( essential) Experience : 20 years of minimum experience of which five years should have been spent as the head of the function, preferably in the EPC space Other Details : Quality Management Systems Course ASNT Level II (desired) Velding Qualification (3.1,3.2) (desired) Should have been an auditor with CII, DNV, TVV Should have had experience of auditing companies in the EPC space (Desired) Build superior talent Collaboration Operational Excellence Customer drive Championing change Business Orientation Entrepreneurship Domain Knowledge Knowledge of Major Codes/Standards Quality Systems Management Third Party Inspection In House Inspection. |
