Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

1. Recommend changes to existing retail liabilities products to improve specifications and performance. Responsible to design, recommend, develop and implement new competitive deposits schemes. Conduct presentations and training program to launch the new deposits schemes.
2. In annual basis responsible to design, recommend, develop and implement new competitive saving schemes and prize draws. Conduct presentations and training program to launch the new scheme.
3. Liaise with Treasury Division to design, recommend, develop and implement new competitive interest bearing deposit products. Provide expert advice and assistance on technical issues relating to the modification of such liabilities products.
4. Liaise with Branding & Marketing Communication Department to design marketing and promotion campaign for new deposit schemes. Provide support to retail deposit products marketing to develop customer propositions and marketing communications.
5. Liaise with Retail Business/Sales units to design, recommend, develop and implement new competitive retail deposit products offerings to targeted government entities & large corporates. Provide expert advice and assistance on technical issues relating to the specially designed retail deposit products offerings.
6. In annual basis responsible to design, recommend, develop and implement new staff incentive schemes to encourage staff to generate business and grow retail liabilities portfolio.
7. Monitoring and tracking retail liabilities portfolio performance against business plans and budgets. Develop and generate daily/weekly/monthly liabilities products MIS reports for RBD Management and Regional/Branch Manager. Cooperate with Retail business/Sales units to define and generate special MIS reports required to make business decisions.
8. Liaise with Customer Experience unit to carry out surveys of customer satisfaction to identify the scope for improvements in retail liabilities products quality and present the result to Retail management through Head-Retail Products & Segments.
9. Carry out regular mystery shopping exercises to ensure that branches maintain an awareness of developments in retail liabilities products and schemes, report the result to Retail management through Head-Retail Products & Segments. Maintain regular contact with the sales team to keep abreast of any developments in liabilities products. Conduct regular training/presentations to improve the awareness level.
10. Monitor the liabilities products performance of competitors to ensure that the bank maintains and develops its competitive position. Maintain an awareness of development in fields of deposits products marketing and research to ensure that the bank continues to compete effectively. Carry out regular market research and present the result to Retail management through Head- Retail Products & Segments

Requirements

• Graduate/Professional Degree in Commerce/Business/Finance.
• Ideally MBA degree
• 10 years related experience with a large financial institution, preferred in Local/regional reputable banks.
• Preferably Managerial level specializing in Banking Business/Products Development or equivalent
