Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Principal Accountabilities: Key activities and decision making areas
- Collaborate and execute broad and complex projects, strategies and work streams to grow and enhance profitability for a relevant products, different segments, and/or channels
- Share the responsibility for ensuring a satisfactory and expected performance of the relevant product business, including overall profitability and financial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Measures constantly and closely all the products performance metrics and competitive environment.
- Monitor and measure products and their associated customer experience and their fit with the defined proposition.
- Develop internally or externally a pricing calculator tool for internal use as well as other tools for clients (ADCB website and other channels)

Customers / Stakeholders
- Collaborates and supports the wider product team to assist in implementing products strategy.
- Monitors competitor activities in order to manage strategic objectives.
- Maintain strong relationships with key partners and stakeholders, especially Sales & Services, Distribution, Credit Risk, Cash Management & Transactional Banking and Operations to support products related activities.
- Maintain a close relationship and engagement with Sales / distribution, measures and provides suggestions to optimize the product sales process.

Leadership & Teamwork
- Creates and constantly develops an effective working relationship with functional areas supporting the products team.
- Active and collaborative member of the product management team.
- Support and advance the mission, vision, values and culture of ADCB

Operational Effectiveness & Control
- Actively involved in ongoing product developments and initiatives. Interface with appropriate business managers or third parties to identify opportunities for Revenue enhancements and value proposition
- Monitor and manage competitive pricing strategies to achieve target levels of profitability.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory procedures
- To implement the Group compliance policy by containing compliance fostering a compliance culture and optimizing relations with regulators.

Complete other responsibilities, as assigned.
- High level of understanding, diligence and management of multiple levels of risks associated to product originations and price setting such as credit, interest rate and Risk Based Pricing.

Product Pricing experience and P&L desired.
- Strong Finance / analytics background
- Experience managing databases, reporting and analysis to provide pricing recommendation.
- Strong planning, analytical, communications, decision-making, ability to influence other teams, interpersonal and project management skills.
- Demonstrated ability respond positively to change, demonstrate flexibility when addressing shifting or competing priorities. Flexible to manage and work on multiple projects at the same time.
- Proven ability to work in a team-oriented environment and effectively influence and communicate across various business lines, units and at senior levels within ADCB
- Strong knowledge of the business, products and services supported as well as the external environment affecting them.
- Thorough understanding of customer segmentation and management techniques, as well as the businesses, products and related processes supported and the regulations impacting them.
- Ability to conduct regular Pricing Sensitivity analysis in order to identify new revenue streams

Pricing & Revenue Enhancement
- Identifying optimal pricing opportunities all segments
- Ensuring that all fees are collected and reflected on SME Ledger
- Conducting Price sensitivity analysis
- Competitive pricing monitoring

Requirements

- Graduate/Post Graduate
- Professional/Technical qualification
- MBA preferred
- Work Experience
- 15 + years of experience across banking with a high level of exposure to transactional products like Credit/Debit cards, Liability Products etc
- Specialist Knowledge/Skills/Training required for the job
- Adequate knowledge of key business drivers
- Sound knowledge on creating and deploying value models and proposition
