Employment: Full Time

We are currently seeking to employ a Head of Admissions to join our expanding team in Abu Dhabi.

The post holder will be responsible for coordinating admissions across all Aldar Academies Schools; overseeing the complete admissions process and line-managing a team of administrative staff.

Highly motivated with excellent communication, leadership and management skills, they also must have the ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.

Reporting to: Director of Marketing & Communications/ Education Development Partner
Desired start date: As soon as possible

Travel requirements: The successful candidate will need a valid UAE Driving License and occasionally travel within the country (i.e. visiting our schools)

Main responsibilities of the role:
- To line manage central admissions staff and to coordinate admission and offers of school places. Support maintenance of an up to date data base of places available in each year group in each school and to ensure this information is easily available to families e.g. through the web sites.
- To work in collaboration with the centralised registration team, Executive Management Team and School Principals, ensuring all admissions and registration policy and procedures are followed and reports submitted within agreed deadlines

To assist parents with the admission process:
- arranging, delivering and coordinating timetables for school tours
- signposting to on-line application form
- screen initial applications and process in line with policy
- arrange school visits to support admissions
- arrange and coordinate student assessments, liaising with school based admin staff as appropriate
- ensure key information for new starters is communicated, including school specific timetables for student induction

Requirements

A good general education up to at least A level or its equivalent

Proven experience working within a school environment as a School Registrar.

Bilingual (English & Arabic) Desirable.

- Experience of having worked at a senior level within a school or comparable organization
- Experience of using a MIS (Engage) to monitor the management of student / staff teaching / learning and associated data.
- Experience of preparing report(s)
- Experience of short, medium and long term planning using live / budgeted data
- Experience of writing reports
- Demonstrate ability of working within a team.
- Ability to communicate clearly across the organization (Internally & externally) with all Stakeholders.
- Provide quarterly reports based on approved management templates
- Provide consistent and accurate data across all schools.
