Head of Airports – Al Maha Airways – Jeddah

Key Responsibilities

* Directing overall airport and catering operations.
* Participating in the establishment of strategies, formulating policies and goals for the department.
* Deriving and developing medium and long/short-term plans and executive programs to manage and achieve the safety and security Company goals.
* Advising the top management on strategic business developments, key corporate planning issues and making recommendations on various business process.
* Monitoring the department's performance against pre-set performance goals to ensure that progress is being made in the desirable direction and preventive/ corrective actions are taken accordingly.
* Setting the estimated budget, and monitoring the department's expenditures and financial performance in coordination with the Chief Operations Officer.
* Disseminating instructions, circulars and information in addition to issuing administrative, organizational and technical decisions necessary to fulfill endorsed plans and executive programmes.

Executive and Technical Duties

* Managing the operations of the Saudi airports and network and overseeing all airport activities with the required airport's personnel.
* Coordinating all airport activities with the required airport's personnel. Ensure station management keeps accurate accounting records for airport operations
* Planning, directing, supervising and coordinating development and capital improvement projects and maintenance operation activities of the Airports
* Enforcing applicable regulations pertaining to airport services operations, and public safety directing Inspecting equipment, grounds, and facilities for proper maintenance, needed repairs, and improvements. Preparing and maintaining required reports and records for submittal to COO, national, state, and local agencies.
* Monitoring Airport development and operation to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
* Researching, developing, implementing and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations regarding the operation and use of the airport.
* Researching and preparing program and/or grant applications for state and federal funding of airport improvements and maintenance projects.
* Preparing and administering the airport operation and capital improvement budgets, as well as negotiating contracts for airport improvement, maintenance and repair.
* Developing, providing information, promoting and planning for maximum utilization and growth of the airport.
* Participating in developing procedures for use in event of aircraft accidents, fires, or other incidents or emergencies.
* Maintaining accurate accounting records for airport operations.
* Directing personnel in investigating violations of aerial or ground traffic regulations, reviewing  Investigation reports, and initiates actions to be taken against violators.

* Bachelor's Degree and / or suitable work experience
* Airport management experience
