Job description / Role
The Role
We require an energetic, perceptive & knowledgeable architect with over 15 years of demonstrated success in project and departmental management.
Responsible for architectural technical coordination and leadership on projects from the initial concept scheme through design development & construction documentation to supporting the on-site supervision teams.
Suitable candidates would provide analytical, organizational and design skills in project management within highly competitive environments resulting in an integrated system of creative, timely and thoughtful projects offering excellent responses to clients needs. Applying broad content skills to lead, manage and design outstanding projects in resorts & hospitality, commercial office, hospitals, laboratories, local government and transportation facilities, in addition to a range of exciting residential projects in the Middle East.
Contributing to the business development for and general management of the Architecture Department through preparing proposals, allocating resources and coordinating disciplines to deliver several large projects simultaneously.
Must be able to generate conceptual and schematic design presentation packages in 3D & 2D. Required to assemble detailed design development and tender document packages for several multi-million dollar projects.
Maintaining client communication, establish & maintain a department training program and delegate responsibilities among team members as well as monitor the work of different consultants.
Requirements
Required Candidate Profile:
- Degree Qualification in Architecture.
- Chartered or Professional membership preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years POST GRAD experience in the construction industry.
- Extensive experience of the incorporation of current international building codes (UK/USA/GCC).
- A solid team player as well as a highly effective individual contributor.
