The RoleThe RoleThe Company Our Client is a Leading Regional Multi-Disciplinary Engineering Consultancy working on prestigious projects across the Gulf. They are currently seeking a Head of Architecture to join their Office in Kuwait. Reporting to the Deputy General Manager and and overseeing a team of 25 direct and indirectly reporting multi-discipline Staff The Role Oversight of different projects, review and ensure quality of design developments and final designs whilst ensuring adherence to deadlines, budgets, quality requirements and contract obligations in order to fulfill client requirements. Assist the Technical Manager and top management in formulating plans to guide the future operations of the Architecture/Design department Review and approve the design developments and final design drawings for various projects, Advise Senior Architects, Project Managers and Resident Engineers, Advise the QS Department in preparing the BoQs in line with project requirements and specifications |
RequirementsRequirementsRequirements Bachelors Degree in Architecture, Chartered and Masters Qualified will be given preference 12-15 years minimum experience 5+years of experience as a senior Architect and 5-7 years as Head of Architecture English speaking candidates are preferred with availability to start on short notice Knowledge of all areas of Design (Landscaping, Interiors etc) with up to date design software Knowledge of architectural developments and direction, building materials/equipment and their application to building components |
