Head of Audit and Compliance - Riyadh

Our client is a multinational with a growing presence in Saudi Arabia. They currently seek an experienced professional to work in their corporate governance team with responsibility for Audit and Compliance. This role is only open to Saudi Nationals.

The role would be to develop the broad functional strategy and ensure that the vision, mission and strategy are cascaded down to the departments to ensure vertical alignment and horizontal integration of all functional strategies across the business.

Strategy
- You would ensure that the functional strategy is aligned with the vision and mission of the business and is documented, approved, in place, communicated and implemented.

Policies, Processes and Procedures
- Direct the development and oversee the implementation of Audit and Compliance functional policies, systems, processes, procedures and controls, covering all areas of Audit and Compliance functions so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled.
- Audit and Compliance functional policies, systems, processes and procedures are documented, approved, in place, communicated and implemented and periodically reviewed.
- Compliance with procedural and legislative requirements.

Day-to-day Operations
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Audit and Compliance department providing guidance, encouraging teamwork and facilitating related professional work processes in order to achieve high performance standards.
- High performance standards are achieved.

Requirements

- Must be a Saudi National. This is absolutely mandatory.
- Experience in a management role
- Minimum of 8 years experience in Compliance
- A professional qualification is preferred eg MBA, CMA, CIA or CPA
