Head of Business Continuity Management & Operational Risk Reporting - Qatar
My client are a leading and expanding regional Bank in Qatar who have grown aggressively over the past few years. Due to their expansion, they are looking at hiring a Head of BCM & Operational Risk to join their Group Operational Risk function reporting into the Group Head of Operational Risk, FRM, BCM and Insurance.
A suitable candidate will be responsible for the maintenance of the business continuity and operational risk management reporting programs. They will also be responsible for implementing business continuity strategies, operational risk and disaster management as well as, establishing controls and procedures and conducting periodic reviews and reporting all information to the senior management.
Requirements
In order to be successful a candidate must have:
- Strong Operational Risk experience
- Extensive Business Continuity experience and experience implementing controls, policies and procedures
- A Bachelor Degree or higher in a relevant discipline e.g. Business, Finance, Accounting etc.
- A certification in Business Continuity - CBCP or MBCI
- A certification in Project Management
- At least 15 years of experience in Banking or Financial services in a similar role
- Knowledge of internal control frameworks
- Extensive knowledge of regulatory requirements concerning Operational Risk and Business Continuity
- Knowledge in general insurance
