Head of Brand Services & Food Development - Kuwait

With more than 750 cafes, stores and restaurants the Alshaya Food division offers a range of roles for different hospitality backgrounds. Brands such as The Cheesecake Factory, Starbucks, P.F. Changs, Pizza Express and Shake Shack provide everything from quick service and casual up to fine dining. We launched 8 new brands across 2012 and 2013 and have more planned for 2014.

The role:
This newly created role will lead and develop a combined team of Service Managers and New Product Development Managers, to capture best practice across brand supply chains and to guide Alshaya's food brands toward a standard supply chain operating model.

As the face of Alshaya for all new food product development, you will be responsible for:
* Instilling a planned approach throughout the team by the introduction of solid project management disciplines for the execution of all change related to supply chain
* Working with brand leaders to assess long term product development opportunities and then ensure the correct skills are in place in the team to unlock these opportunities
* Overseeing the creation and ongoing execution of supply chain development plans for each brand.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you will have in-depth knowledge and extensive experience of food supply chain markets and new product development relating to the food services or restaurants sectors. Your strong influencing and communications skills will enable you to build, develop and maintain successful external stakeholder and host brand relationships while ensuring the quality, cost and suitability of new product within the MENA region.
