Our client is a major multi-disciplinary consultancy with a growing presence throughout the Middle East Region. An opportunity has arisen for a Head of Building Services (MEP) to join its rapidly expanding team based in Muscat.

The Head of Building Services will be responsible for managing our clients office based design team comprising of Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers and Public Health Engineers. As such, the successful candidate will be well versed in all stages of MEP design from initial concept right through to completion.

Projects are varied and include hospitality, high rise, retail, residential projects and many more!

Requirements

- Degree qualified (or equivalent due to visa restrictions) in Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or relevant related discipline
- Accreditation by a professional body such as CIBSE (Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineering), CEng (Chartered Engineer), RPE (Registered Professional Engineer), IEE or MIET is highly desirable
- Have a proven track record working for well reputed multi-disciplinary Consultancies and / or Architecture & Engineering Consultancies
- Successful candidates will have a proven track record in managing sizeable multi-disciplinary design teams overseeing Mechanical / Electrical and Public Health Engineers
- Previous experience working within the Middle East is essential
- Strong presentation skills
- Excellent leadership and communication skills are a pre-requisite of the role.
