The Role


The Role


As the Head of Communications & Planning you will prepare and implement Communication Plans with a focus on internal and external media relations and crisis planning. You will be responsible for monitoring and managing the annual Communication Plans to ensure consistency for all issues and activities associated with Qatargas. You must have a strong journalistic background with examples of published material. In addition, you will manage the PR Crisis Management Team to confirm that effective plans are in place to follow-up with all internal and external media related communications. Your role will include a number of ad hoc duties, including training and development.

You must have an extensive background in Public Relation and Communication within the Oil & Gas industry with successful results implementing and executing Communication Plans in the Middle East. You must have a Bachelors Degree in Journalism, Communication, Public Relations and Business Administration from a related field from a reputable University. You must be excellent in written and spoken English with spoken Arabic as an added bonus. You will also have proven experience managing communication plans with various departments and teams in line with company protocol.
