Head of Configuration Management

Job description / Role

Head of Configuration Management, Banking, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Salary TBC - Benefits will Include Housing Allowance, Transport Allowance, Bonus, Medical etc.

Our client based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia are looking for a Head Configuration Management to assist in the provision of system administration of their SW version control environment, builds, release methodologies and to develop configuration status recording/reporting to support the SDLC and development process.

Role Purpose:
- To ensure that all change requests in application and systems are accurately evaluated so as to assess their importance and ability to be integrated in the production and to ensure that all approved changes have been properly released

Technical Knowledge:
- Excellent knowledge of banking BT systems and applications
- Very good knowledge of the banking operations and requirements
- In depth knowledge and understanding of Problem Reporting and Change Request methodology and process
- Very good skills in Version/configuration control metrologies

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology preferably at a post-graduate level
- 8-10 years of relevant experience in BT operations within a banking organisation including at least 4 years in positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities
