The RoleThe RoleHead of Contracts, Qatar Our client, a Middle East based commercial bank is looking for a Head of Contracts to join its team in Qatar. The incumbent has to monitor operations and liabilities at assigned projects with respect to contractual agreements with the contractors/suppliers, in accordance with management standards and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities: • Review the tender documents to be assigned to contractors. • Ensure the maintenance of a contract file for each contractor. • Meet with contractors to resolve issues such as payments, invoices and conflicts. • Maintain the projects insurance requirements, ensuring that all related risks are covered. • Develop work progress and status reports for contractors and suppliers sorted by project site. |
RequirementsRequirements• University degree in Civil Engineering/ Architecture. • At least 10-12 years of contracts administration experience in large scale projects in the infrastructure services department of a bank in the GCC. • Familiar with Microsoft Office applications and Banking Systems used in this role. • Fluency in English as well as Arabic.
