The RoleThe RoleOur client, a global and successful bank, is looking for a Head of Corporate Affairs for their Bahrain office. The Head of Corporate Affairs will manage the Corporate Affairs function to primarily up-hold and protect the reputation of the bank both externally and internally. The role will be a typical corporate affairs position, and as such the successful candidate will be instrumental in implementing a programme of Media Relations, internal, external and executive communications, government relations, CSR, and crisis communications. The role works closely alongside Country Managers, Business Unit Heads and the Business Corporate Affairs teams to identify opportunities to leverage business wins in the media, as well as lead reputation management and enhancement, as well as maximising CSR activities. The ideal candidate will be a native Arabic speaker, have experience in Bahrain and excellent corporate communications experience within the banking sector, as well as within the MENA region.
