The RoleThe RoleHead of Corporate Islamic Relationship Management My client, one of the largest banks in the GCC is looking for an experienced individual to lead the Relationship Management Team (Corporate Islamic) The incumbent will be responsible for the management of the relationships with the corporate clientele, seeking Shari’a compliant relationships and thereby assisting the Head of Islamic Corporate Banking in achieving the targets. Will ensure that corporate customer accounts are promptly assigned to identifiable relationship managers within the department/ unit, coordinate efforts with other departments/ units, cross sell products to the Islamic corporate clientele, ensure that customers’ needs are met on a priority basis and uphold/ monitor compliance with prevailing Shari’a compliant corporate financing practices. |
RequirementsRequirementsRequired Special Skills: - University graduate with at least 10 years experience in financial services with a specialization in managing accounts/ relationships of corporate clientele customers seeking Sharia’ compliant relationships. - Well-informed of the market competitive structure, industry practices and any regulations for the Islamic corporate banking customer segment with at least 7 years experience in local environment. - MBA in Sales & Marketing (preferred). - Excellent oral and written communication skills (including report writing) in English and Arabic. - Experience in Shari’a Structuring is highly preferred. - Good knowledge of the banking and commercial environment in Qatar. - Superior people relationship skills and awareness of risk management concept and practices. - Understanding of the relevant laws, regulations and practices pertaining to Islamic Banking products (especially corporate products). - Ability to make decisions and follow through with initiatives - Personal integrity and self-management - Outstanding problem solving and decision making skills. - Planning, organizing and analytical ability. - Results oriented. - Familiar with the balanced scorecard approach. - Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of management. - Ability to motivate and lead teams from diverse cultural backgrounds.
