The Role


The Role


My client is one of the fastest growing Islamic banks in Qatar, and on their perspective of growing and challenging the market they are looking to expand their Retail Banking department by recruiting a Head of Credit and Central Verification.

The role will be responsible for leading the Credit and Central Verification department. New retail banking unit with prime responsibility of Credit Unit, installing systems, creating lending policies and credit processes for credit cards, personal loans, overdrafts and other loans.
Portfolio management for control of credit losses and modification of front-end acceptance criteria. Introduce and develop Retail Credit Policy

Daily basis contact with the direct sales department and the branches to assure Excellency on the process.

Skills and experienced requested:

- Minimum of 7 years experience in retail banking (Retail Credit)
- Previous experience managing a credit team in Retail Banking.
- At least 3 years in a Senior / Managerial level position
- MBA / MSc level education (Economics or Finance preferred)
- Strong Interpersonal and Communications skills
- Results driven
- Arabic preferable since will be in touch with branches and direct sales.

Salary for this position will be between 35.000 and 40.000 QAR p/m
