The RoleThe RoleHead of Credit Excellent Package Our client are a leading finance provider with their head office based in the UAE. They are currently looking for a Head Of Credit to join their growing team in Dubai. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer here in the UAE you will be directly managing a team of five (5) Credit Professionals. Continuously looking for ways to improve the business you will have excellent market awareness with the ability to design and propose new and innovative market leading products. Other responsibilities will include: Ensuring both internal and external compliance standards including anti-money laundering policies are set a maintained by all professionals. Setting and achieving Key Performance Indicators including turnaround times and reporting to external bodies. Approving credit proposals and transactions within pre-approved limits. Review and monitor risk. Review audit and external reports around compliance and performance and implement action plans for improvement. Continuously analyze and review the companys existing portfolio to ensure risk is kept to a minimum. Develop Credit and lending strategy taking into account market conditions. Ensure the overall day to day running of the Credit team and oversee the management of client relationships. |
RequirementsRequirementsThe successful candidate will have at least eight (8) years experience in a similar role. You should be a qualified accountant and preferably educated to Masters level. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial accounts are also essential. Leading the team and liaising with clients you should have the ability to manage both internal and external relationships ensuring the client is always satisfied with the service they are receiving.
