Besides Toyota, we also hold exclusive franchises for some of the world's top automobiles and automotive products like Hino - Japan's leading heavy-duty vehicle manufacturer, Toyo & Chen shin/ Maxxis tyres, GS & Panasonic batteries and many more.We are currently looking to recruit a Head of Distributor Operations to join Al Futtaim Motors, namely Lexus. The Head of Distributor Operations is to ensure that the AFM model line meets the requirements of the market in order to achieve the budgeted volume, revenue and GP budgeted by AFM.To develop marketing strategies for Lexus vehicle sales and service and promote the Lexus brand in order to increase market share and sales.

Description:

* Development of New Models, Specifications and continuous enhancement of existing Models.
* Maintain effective relations with TMC personnel and ensure that all the deadlines are complied with.
* Development of Accessories for the Models in close co-ordination with Parts and Service Department.
* Manage marketing budget by ensuring efficiency of spend.
* Manage TMC marketing support.

Job Context:

* The job holder has a pivotal role in the AFM organisation, managing the department that is responsible for controlling all aspects of product specification and pricing.
* The job holder will liaise with a number of other stakeholders, notably and the relevant GM of that brand, the marketing team of the brand and the brand sales teams.
* The job holder is the central player in communication of the relevant AFM brand message in the UAE. The effective communication of the message is critical to the ultimate success of the brand in terms of both volume and GP in the short and long term.
* The job holder will report into General Manager Lexus.
* The job holder will also have to liaise with third party suppliers and the brand principal.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
* University Graduate or significant experience in sales and/or product planning ,preferably within the automotive field.

Minimum Experience:
* 8 -10 years in a Sales and/or Product Marketing Department, automotive experience preferred.

Job-Specific Skills:
* Analytical/Numerical/Presentation
* PC Competency/Computer Knowledge

Behavioural Competencies:
* Attention to detail, initiative, creativity, ability to think strategically.
