The Role


The Role


Our client is looking for the head of the electrical department overseeing all design.

Responsibilities:

-Monitor and assess the performance of all Electrical section staff.

-Ensure that the design of the different electrical systems has been done according to the applicable regulations in Qatar.

-Monitor the progress of design of different projects in coordination.

-Work with Project Directors/coordinators and Electrical Design Engineers to ensure works are carried out as required in contracts.

-Network with relevant suppliers to keep updated on the latest technology in the market.

-Attend site meetings taking part in design related discussions and proposals.

-Review and monitor the implementation of quality assurance and control procedures for each project.

-Develop and maintain positive professional relations with current and prospective Clients.

Requirements


Requirements


-Degree in Electrical Engineering.

-PMP LEED HNC qualified preferably.

-GCC Experience.

-Chartered engineers preferred.

-Experience with developing and maintaining professional relations with current and prospective clients.

-Experience of assessing the implementation of quality assurance and control procedures for each project.
