Head of Engineering Up to (eur)55,000 GBP + Accommodation + Transport + Benefits

We are currently working in partnership with a leading Dairy organisation in Saudi Arabia and we are searching for a Head of Engineering to join their established team. This position will require the individual to deputise for the Director of Operations on a regular basis therefore you must have the capability that will allow you to manage the entire operation, when required.

In order to be successful in the role you will be a strong leader and have the ability to develop and motivate large, diverse teams. It requires an individual who is driven, passionate and is able to influence others in a demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a departmental plan that supports the organisational business plan and is consistent with company values
- Develop and lead your team to ensure that committed, skilled and flexible individuals are in place to deliver the business goals with a clear understanding of health and safety issues.
- Work effectively cross-functionally to ensure you work in the best interest of the site and not just of your function.
- Champion continuous improvement in all that we do and ensure all members of your team are actively involved in this culture.
- To understand and analyse the key drivers of downtime and manufacturing efficiency.
- To works closely with the operations team to ensure optimum manufacturing performance.
- To manage all small to medium sized equipment and facility investment projects.

Requirements

- Degree qualified or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years in senior management positions.
- Takes the initiative and is highly proactive.
