Job description / Role

Salary: AED 13,500 15,000 (Benefits include: furnished housing, schooling for 2 children, medical insurance, 1 annual return ticket home and a relocation allowance.)

An established rapidly growing international school based in Sharjah requires an experiences Head of English Leader. You will be required to work with the senior leadership team and be involved in the full coordination of the English department and its curriculum.

The school is a large international school with mainly Arabic students. The curriculum followed is the American and all subjects are taught in English. There are over 800 students KG-Grade 11 boys and girls.

The school offers a good ex pat package, competitive salary, housing provided, discount on school fees for 2 dependants, 1 flight home annually and relocation costs covered.

Requirements

- Bachelors degree in Education or English Literature or language.
- Minimum 5 years classroom experience.
- Minimum 2 years management experience.
- Experience in teaching the American Curriculum.
- DBS check or police check.
- Excellent references.
- Hardworking attitude with passion and enthusiasm.
- Ability to work with Children whose first language is not English.
- Excellent classroom management and first class lesson planning with high attention to detail.
