The RoleThe RoleAllen & York are currently recruiting for a Head of Environment position for one of the UAEs leading industrial companies. The position is responsible for the overall development of environmental plans & programs to feed into the company businesses strategy. Key deliverables include: Develop environmental objectives for the project sites against agreed standards. Develop, implement and maintain monitoring criteria and systems to measure overall environmental performance. Participate in the development of an environmental strategy with relevant authorities and stakeholders and maintain communication with them (Liaise with EHS professionals to promote effective attainment of environmental objectives). Keep abreast of developments in the environmental field. Provide advice on environmental risk assessments, audits, investigations, environmental standards as well as environmental management system implementation and adherence. Conduct specific environmental awareness programs. Guide the process to achieve the strategic goals of the environmental functionary. Advise on best environmental practices. |
RequirementsRequirementsApplicants for this critically important position must be UAE Nationals. Foreign applicants with VISAs to live & work in the UAE unfortunately will not be considered. Applicants should have 5 years experience within an environmental management related field with environmental Related experience - preferably within industry. The salary package would be in the range of 45,000 to 47,000 AED per month. |
