The RoleThe RoleKuwait's leading Asset Management house is seeking a Head of Equity Research for funds covering Kuwait, GCC and MENA. The set up is heavily research focused, preferring to utilise in-house research over broker recommendations. Currently the asset management division operates 5 funds around Equities, Fund of Funds, Money Markets and Real Estate. The current assets under management are approximately $950m USD (250m KD), with an average annual performance across the funds of 12%. You will be expected to conduct research across sectors, produce monthly, bi-annual and annual reports, as well as providing support to the sales desk when required. You will be expected to lead a team of researchers, develop close relationships with the Portfolio Managers and provide advise for the investment committee. |
RequirementsRequirementsThe ideal candidate will have the following qualities: 1) 12+ yrs equity research experience 2) Extensive sell-side research experience 3) Strong focus on the GCC, more specifically on Kuwait 4) Managerial experience 5) Strong education in relevant subject 6) Holding professional qualifications (CFA, CAIA etc.) 6) Arabic language skills If you feel you are sufficiently qualified then please apply now online.
