The RoleThe RoleHead of External Communications, Qatar Our client, a Middle East based commercial bank is looking for a Head of External Communications to join its team in Qatar. The incumbent will be responsible for managing and developing the Groups’ external profile in the media and through other channels including the website. Responsibilities: • Strategically liaise with journalists and freelancers in maximizing media coverage. • Manage conferences, seminars, events and other functions organized by the Group. • Develop media deliverables including press releases, press kits, media alerts, case studies, etc. • Drive public relations programs to increase awareness of the Group’s brand, products and services. • Assist in directing media relations and marketing communications activities across the whole Group. |
RequirementsRequirements• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Communications and Public Relations, Masters is a plus. • Minimum of 8 years experience in a major bank in the GCC, of which at least 3 years must be in a managerial capacity in a similar function. • Sound knowledge of related Banking Systems used. • Bilingual- English and Arabic.
