The Role

Charterhouse Partnership is currently undertaking a search and selection process for the contracting division of a large diversified group to identify an Arabic speaking Head of Finance for their project based business.

Reporting to the Group CFO you will take ownership of all areas of financial management and accounting requirements across the operation. You will support the CEO with project based costing and commercial objective implications across the business and the project pipeline.

This management role shall take ownership of a current team of seven who sit at an Accountant or Finance Manager level in the existing structure. However, this role shall also be focussed towards assessing and implementing areas of change to management and operational efficiencies to ensure strong controls, reporting capabilities and commercial support.

Requirements


Requirements

The successful candidate should be a qualified and Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA) who is able to demonstrate a strong understanding of the contracting and project industry as well as the required control and reporting parameters within it. This shall also extend to the provision of MIS within a framework where cost sensitivities and drivers are core considerations. The nature of this organisation and a diversity drive requires an Arabic speaking candidate within this role.
