Head of Finance
Salary up to 40k/month.
We are recruiting a strategic Head of Finance, for a well-known global FMCG business.
Business Decision Support:
Key member of the senior management team at the Business Unit.
Responsible for Annual Business Planning and Budgeting for the entire region (GCC at present) in close coordination with Business Unit Head.
Consolidation, review and analysis of Monthly MIS reports and periodic Budget reviews.
Preparation of Feasibility studies for new growth opportunities in existing/new markets, capital expenditure, marketing promotions and operational investments.
Improve reporting capabilities to monitor key business drivers on a regular basis and share the analysis with senior management for appropriate action.
Ensure Budgetary control and compliance with policies and procedures. Put in place a monitoring mechanism to ensure implementation of Financial/Operational Policies and Procedures.
Develop a strong compliance framework to strengthen internal controls across the business.
Handle Business Processes Reengineering projects to improve productivity.
Financial Reporting and Treasury:
Provide comprehensive financial accounting, reporting and analysis support to the entire business.
Handle Statutory, Internal and other types of periodic audits in an efficient and timely manner.
Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Ensure timely submission of required information and periodic reports to Corporate Office.
Handle treasury function, operational Banking relationships across the region.
Working capital management especially in relation to Receivables and Inventory.
Head of IT department responsible for ERP (Oracle) implementation and smooth transition.
Leadership of Finance Team:
Provide leadership to a large regional Finance team (team size Ė 30).
Responsible for talent development and succession planning in the Finance function.
In order to be successful you must have a strong background in FMCG and have proven success in a senior commercial finance position.
Candidates must currently be working in a large corporate MNC
CA qualification (or equivalent such as ACCA or CIMA) is essential plus 15-20 yrs PQE
Candidates should have around 20 years work experience in total
