The Role

Talent2 are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity with one of our clients within the Banking industry, They are looking for a Head of Funds Transfer to be reporting to the Head of Centralized Operations. This role is vital for the bank and offers great exposure and development for the successful candidate.

• Design and implementation Standard Operating Procedure in Funds Transfer unit.

• Identify GAPS and Introduce controls to reduce Operational Risk

• Monitor the processes and their results for continuous improvement

• Participate in Process re-engineering activities

• Define SLA for the processing of non-STP incoming and outgoing payments.

• Establish special workflow for government and corporate payments

• Coordinate with IT for schedule maintenance activities from SARIE and SWIFT

• Define SLA with communication unit for on time delivery of printed messages

• Establish threshold amounts in funds transfer and coordinate with Treasury for processing of such transactions

• Design the internal settlement process.

• Coordinate with SAMA SARIE team whenever required

• Establish communication method between Enquiry desk and funds transfer for Foreign currency payments issues (incoming or outgoing)

• Ensure the execution of regular reconciliation process and financial bookings

• Participate in Audit activities and recommend changes to complement audit comments

• Prepare monthly statistics reports for management and improve the Operations rating

• Support the Implementation of bank’s strategy

• Prepare and evaluate staff Key performance Indicators and midyear reviews

• Arrange inter department training for staff and initiate career growth opportunities



• University graduate

• 10 years of experience in Banking Operation

• At least 7 years in Funds Transfer Unit

• Exposure to best and efficient funds transfer
practices in the market

• IOB certified

• Accounting courses

• SWIFT messages training

• Must be adept in use of MS Office 2000 or later, particularly Excel and Word, and Internet and email

• SWIFT payment messages

• SARIE payment messages
