Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The job holder has to develop new business for a specific target market of High Net worth Individuals and Business Professionals in government. Tracks and analyzes banking economic trends and makes appropriate recommendations to senior management. Builds market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships.

Requirements

a) Build strong relationships with government entities and major public sector organizations in the territory of UAE.
b) Senior role which requires proactive engagement with regional government bodies, understanding core requirements, communicating and showcasing services and capabilities across various business lines, working with relevant internal and external stakeholders to develop applicable propositions, and winning business with targeted institutions.
c) Take ownership for sourcing, preparing and submitting major bids and proposals to government entities and public sector institutions.
d) Develop and maintain relationships with regulators, government officials, family offices and influential business leaders.
e) Work closely with regional leadership teams in the development and enhancement of their government growth strategy, and ensure delivery of revenue target.
f) Develop a strong understanding of our products and services across Bank’s business lines.
g) Support regional leadership team in the development and refinement of government growth plans, drawing from previous experience to identify opportunities, requirements, and ‘go to market’ strategy.
h) Identify government and public sector targets based on strategy and priorities of business, arranging and attending meetings with senior government and public sector representatives.
i) Leverage existing contacts; work with third parties and prospect to establish relationships as appropriate.
j) Draft formal letters and requests for meetings with senior government officials and representatives.
k) Attend high-level networking functions and social events providing access to senior government representatives.
l) Communicate our propositions to government and public sector representatives, qualify scope of opportunity and provide clear, structured feedback to internal stakeholders.
m) Proactively source government tenders, formal requests for proposal and unsolicited proposals through engagement, clarify the scope of work as appropriate, and prioritize opportunities.
n) Take ownership for proposal writing and bid management, designing solutions matching the scope of opportunity in conjunction with internal and external parties, and submit/ present proposals/ bids.
o) Handle negotiations and discussions over contractual terms with prospective customer, and maintain relationships on an ongoing basis.
p) Demonstrate thought leadership on public sector reform and opportunities in region of relevance, speaking at conferences as appropriate.
q) Perform any other duties or responsibilities that are consistent with the role as assigned by management.
